WINNIPEG, (Manitoba): ICE canola futures dipped on Tuesday, pressured by selling by speculators and reduced crusher buying.
Canola’s strength during the previous two sessions has been due to crusher demand and Statistics Canada’s reduction last week of its canola harvest estimate, but those supports have dissipated, a trader said.
A sell-off in crude oil and soybean oil also weighed on canola.
