The entry test for admission to all government and private medical and dental colleges in Punjab for the year 2012-13 to be arranged for the University of Health Sciences will be held simultaneously on Sunday, September 23 at 20 locations in 12 cities of the province.
More than 35000 candidates are expected to appear in the test and University of Health Sciences has made elaborate arrangements for this purpose. According to Vice Chancellor of the university who is also Chairman of the admission board, Professor I.A. Naveed, the entry test will be held in Bahawalpur, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan in South Punjab, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala and Sargodha in Central Punjab and Rawalpindi and Hassan Abdal in Northern Punjab. He said that university administration has been making strenuous efforts for the last two and half month for the holding of the entry test in a successful manner. He said that the process of holding orientation seminars for the students and their parents has also been completed.
