Christian community has sympathised with the Muslim majority on blasphemy issue condemning the controversial and sacrilegious movie "Innocence of Muslims" describing it offensive to Islam.
Fr. Akhtar Naveed O.P Director of Pastoral Institute Multan appealed to the US government to ban the film, and demanded arrest of Pastor Terry Jones, Sam Becile, the director, and other persons who participated in the production. Fr Akhtar Naveed O.P, a priest and former Secretary of the National Commission for Justice and says that it's terrible to offend the sensibilities of Muslim for sinister and evil interests."
The Christians unanimously condemned the blasphemous film and branded its authors as "agents of Satan" who deserve exemplary punishment. Pakistan Muslim League-N (Minority wing) held a meeting here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Boota Sarfraz to condemn the blasphemous movie which had enraged the Muslims. Joseph Numberdar and others say," Christianity does not allow anyone to use defamatory remarks about any prophet." It was a condemnable act of Terry Jones and Sam Becile and others who were playing in the hands of Jewish lobby.
