On the 1st day of Libra every year and on the 23rd of September we get together to remember a very significant day in our History which is our National Day. Coinciding on 1351AH corresponding to 1932AD.
On this day history recorded the birth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was achieved by the bravery of its Founder and Benefactor Late H. M. King Abdul Aziz Ben Abdul Rehman Al-Saud who after years of prolonged and sustained struggle, recorded these achievements in this Land of Pure and Laid its initial foundations which have been successfully carried on by his sons until it reached into the safe hands of Khadim Al-Haramain Al-Sharifain King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz Al-Saud ( May Allah Safeguard Him ) who turned The Kingdom into a new modern, prosperous nation enjoying a unique place at all regional, national and international forums.
The observance of The National Day of Saudi Arabia is a unique event which is unprecedented and unmatched in the History of Al-Jazeera Al-Arabia wherein emerging from squattered pieces of Land, a new modern country emerged, which was a unique event in the international history duly playing its role in all international events, enjoying unprecedented weight politically at all international forums.
The Kingdom recently sustained two great losses of the personalities of HRH Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz and HRH Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz but in the staunch belief that Allah's will prevail, The Khadim Al-Harmain King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, continued his unflinching duty towards the people of Saudi Arabia. He promptly appointed HRH Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz as Crown Prince and Defence Minister and HRH Prince Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz as Minister of Interior to assist him in discharging the responsibilities towards the Umma and the people of Saudi Arabia and to let the wheel of development and service moving towards the people of Saudi Arabia.
Khadim Al-Haramain Al-Sharifain H. M. King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, who leads our distinguished Nation successfully, once had wisely declared during his speech on the occasion of the National Day, he said, Quote : The great achievements are based on a correct assessment which has transformed our Nation, and it is due to our staunch belief in Kitab-Allah and Sunnah of our Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and holding on to the fundamentals of our pristine Religion, Distinctive Customs and Culture. Moreover, our continued efforts in attaining our goals and surmounting all obstacles, keeping in view the demands of modern life while strictly adhering to our Islamic principles and keeping ourselves fully abrest with the requirements of our people like a closely knit family and in pursuit of these goals removing all impediments which may hinder our progress and meeting our noble goals. The Khadim Al-Harmain Al-Sharifain also referred to our National unity, which is by the Grace of Allah, a shining and unique example of our love and affection, which binds our sincere rulers with our Nation and People.
