Another landmark announcement of Khadim Al-Haramian Al-Sharifain pertains to the grand expansion project of Al-Haram Al-Shareef for which the foundation stone was laid in Ramadan Al-Mubarak. According to this huge stupendous plan costing about Eighty Billion Saudi Riyals, it envisages to accommodate over 2.2 Million Pilgrims at one time in the Haram. This huge project, the largest in history is planned to be completed by 2015 The Khadim Al-Harmain Al-Sharifain has also announced huge expansion work of Al-Haram Al-Nabwi Al-Sharaif.
