LONDON: Europe’s major stock markets made a positive start to the week on Monday, as investors shrugged off Asian losses on the eve of key US inflation data.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index won 0.2 percent to 7,898.52 points compared with the closing level on Friday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index added 0.1 percent to 15,326.78 points and the Paris CAC 40 grew 0.3 percent to 7,154.10.
