KARACHI: Gold prices on Tuesday nosedived on the local market, traders said. They plunged by Rs1700 to Rs195900 per tola and Rs1457 to Rs167953 per 10 grams.

Gold prices on the world market were quoted for $1855 per ounce.

Silver was available for Rs2130 per tola and Rs1826.13 per 10 grams, traders said.
