Pakistan Council of Science and Industrial Research (PCSIR), following the previous year's experience, has again prepared low-cost anti-dengue syrup to counter the rising threat. Director General Dr Shahzad Alam told APP on Sunday that following directions of Secretary Science and Technology and Chairman PCSIR Dr Shaukat Pervez, PCSIR again prepared low-cost syrup from papaya and pomegranate costing Rs 80 per bottle.
It should be taken thrice a day after mixing with clean drinking water, Dr Shahzad Alam said.
