The Pakistan People's Party Lahore celebrated 24th birthday of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the residence of PPP Lahore President and Federal Minister Samina Khalid Ghurki here on Sunday. Talking to media persons, Samina Ghurki said that the PPP is the Party of the people and its workers are proud of the Party leadership.
She hoped that Bilawal Bhutto would prove to be the best leader of the Party and the workers would fully support him. Replying to a question, she said that the PPP has always worked for democracy and the country. The credit goes to President Asif Ali Zardari, who has taken along all the coalition partners by following the policy of reconciliation, she added.
Samina said the letter to the Swiss authorities would be written under the provisions of law. However, she added, the President enjoyed immunity.
Earlier, the Federal Minister cut the cake while PPP Punjab General Secretary Haji Aziz ur Rehman Chan, PPP Punjab Information Secretary Raja Amir, MPA Sajida Mir, PPP Lahore General Secretary Zekria Butt, PPP Lahore Information Secretary Abid Siddiqui and number of workers were also present.
