KARACHI: The first ‘Dragons of Pakistan’ to recognise the work of Pakistani Marketing Communications Agencies and Brand Owner Clients, within Pakistan, and then throughout Asia via the ‘Dragons of Asia’, rolls out on March 1.

The ‘Dragons of Pakistan’ is an extension of the ‘Dragons of Asia’, the elite Marketing Communications Programme since 2000, operating in all countries across Asia.

Here’s what Warc London have said about the ‘Dragons of Asia’: ‘The Dragons of Asia are now positioned alongside prestigious global effectiveness awards, such as the Cannes Lions, the IPA Effectiveness Awards and the Effies’.

In recent years, Pakistani Agencies have become an emerging force in the ‘Dragons of Asia’, winning multiple Gold, Silver & Bronze Category Dragons, as well as Blue Dragons for the Best Campaigns in Pakistan. In 2018, Starcom Pakistan’s ‘Bottle of Change’ Campaign for Coca-Cola Pakistan, was awarded the coveted Red Dragon for the Best Campaign in Asia.

After enthusiastic lobbying by the local Industry, a decision has been made by the ‘Dragons of Asia’ Board to launch a dedicated ‘Dragons of Pakistan’ this year, with specially developed Gold, Silver, Bronze trophies and Black Dragon certificates.
