S&P not to place other US banks on CreditWatch negative after First Republic cut

Ratings agency S&P Global Ratings said on Tuesday it will not place other US banks on CreditWatch negative for now as it does not see “significant indications” of unmanageable deposit outflows.

First Republic dives as fresh financing fails to soothe deposit outflow fears

Earlier on Tuesday, S&P placed its ratings on First Republic Bank on CreditWatch negative, reflecting lower confidence in the lender’s financial strength.
