Religious Intolerance Group (RIG) would submit today (Wednesday) a draft petition to the United Nations and all foreign embassies to urge them to introduce an international law to control the menace of blasphemy against religions and holy personalities.
Chairperson of RIG Justice Fakhar-un-Nisa Khokar (R) Tuesday told Business Recorder that her group has prepared a draft of petition in which the UN and international community have been asked to introduce law to curb blasphemy about Islam and other religions. She said on Wednesday the group would submit a copy of the draft in the office of UN and all foreign embassies and appeal them to introduce a legislation to control sacrilegious acts.
