Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister, and ANP leader, Bashir Ahmad Bilour has disowned the statement of the Federal Minister for Railways regarding the bounty on head of the anti-Islam filmmaker, saying that the party is seriously concerned about the ANP senior leader, who invited through a statement, militants and al Qaeda to help kill the sacrilegious movie producer.
"Offering bounty for the killer of the moviemaker was a personal view of the minister but the party has concerns over his invitation to al Qaeda", the Senior Minister told media persons after attending the ceremony held in connection with the second anniversary of the creation of Rescue 1122 here at the Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday. However, he said that they supported the move against the Anti-Islam filmmaker, who hurt the religious feelings and sentiments of Muslims around the World. "We strongly condemned the anti-Islam movie, but do not own the statement of the Federal Minister entirely", he explained.
Regarding the riots on the eve of "Yaum-e-Ishq-e-Rasool", he said that the government had identified the groups and elements behind the disorder, and would take the necessary action against them. When asked about the legality of the Rescue-1122, he replied that a bill had been moved in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, which had been promulgated into an act, after which the Rescue 1122 had full legal cover and had regularised their entire employees.
Earlier addressing the ceremony, the Senior Minister said that it was a matter of great pleasure that the Rescue 1122 had achieved a milestone during the last two years. On the occasion, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Barrister Arshad Abdullah, the institute Director General, Dr Shamsul Haq, senior officers, staff members and others were present.

He gave the assurance that the government would take every possible step to fulfil the demands of the administration of Rescue 1122. Regarding the prevailing law and order situation, he said that about 60 to 70 percent peace had been restored as compared to the past three years. He said that most of the terrorist networks had been dismantled by the collective efforts of the security forces, people and government.
Counting the different initiatives taken during the four and half years, he said that the ANP government had implemented 100 percent of its manifesto and had taken revolutionary steps in education, health, social and development sectors in the province. "We had given top priority to the underprivileged parts of the province", he maintained. He added that the people would elect the ANP on the basis of its good performance during the last four and half years.
