OMD scored 63 points and was ranked number one among media companies for competitiveness in pitches in 2011 and past three years for Asia Pacific. OMD was followed in the rankings by Aegis, Carat and GroupM's Maxus. Recma is the only research company that publishes evaluations on the world-wide media agency industry. Its Compitches reports aims at ranking media agencies based on their level of competitiveness in pitches.
The report is based on a weighted, country-by-country ranking. It ranks pitches worth more than two million dollars and identifies key pitches as worth more than 25 million dollars. Initiative, OMD and Zenith Optimedia jointly hold the top three spots for India and in Australia, Maxus and Mediacom are tied for top place, followed by Mindshare.
OMD Pakistan's management structure is led by Dara Bashir Khan as Chairman and Rizwan Merchant as CEO. Rizwan brings on board rich experience of working with some of the top brands in the industry. He is able to add qualitative dimensions to media selection, negotiations, process management and client transparency.-PR
