Baizai Irrigation scheme to be beneficial for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa farmers: Hoti

Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Haider Khan Hoti, has said that completion of Baizai Irrigation Scheme will irrigate 25,000 acres land and will create positive impacts on lives of the people and economy. He was addressing a gathering at Grid Station Katlang in Mardan on Wednesday. ANP district President Farooq Akram Khan and large number of party workers were also present on the occasion.
The chief minister said that work on Baizai Irrigation Scheme was progressing speedily and that he will soon launch this important project. He said that on irrigation side, it will benefit the people of Mardan and Malakand also for farmers. Highlighting development schemes in provincial assembly constituency Pk-28, he said that development schemes in different sectors will jointly cost Rs 310 million and most of these schemes were near to completion.
He announced Rs 20 million for separate feeder in Katlang Grid Station, Rs 16.2 million for solution to drainage problem in Kharakai, Rs 22 million for completion of road from Badar Chowk to Dheri Road, Rs 21 million for Babuzai Barat Khel Road, Rs 20 million for water supply schemes in Babuzai and Rs 8.7 million for development schemes in Shamozai Union Council. Earlier the chief minister laid foundation stones of five link roads. He also inaugurated the construction work of Tehsil Building Katlang.
