KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.500 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,915.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.604 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.860 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.065 billion), Platinum (PKR 737.836 million), Silver (PKR 586.382 million), Crude Oil (PKR 533.648 million), DJ (PKR 456.191 million), Natural Gas (PKR 278.322 million), Copper (PKR 224.408 million), SP 500 (PKR 135.702 million), Brent (PKR 8.702 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 8.182 million).
In Agricultural commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.200 million was traded.
