Rising trend amid thin trade on grain market

Small business activity was seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday most of the leading buyers were on the sidelines due to less buying interest, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat old bardan and wheat new Bardan slightly up by Rs 5 to Rs 2940-2980 in process of trading, they added.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh gained Rs 25 to Rs 345-3525. other types maintained overnight levels in the process of trading, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh old picked up Rs 50 to Rs 400-500 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new picked up same amount to Rs 900-950, other items maintained their overnight levels, they said.
