ISLAMABAD: United States Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome on Wednesday called on Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari amid political and economic crises as well as the continued delay in the 9th review of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In a tweet, Bilawal said that he held “constructive” discussions with the US ambassador on further strengthening bilateral ties as well as regional developments.

The foreign minister said that he also welcomed the holding of the “Health Dialogue” between the two countries to be held in June.

Bilawal further stated that he also emphasized the need for cooperation of the United States with Pakistan including on the post floods reconstruction.
