Two soldiers embrace martyrdom in terrorist attack at Balochistan’s Kech
- Security forces launch immediate sanitisation operation in the area
Two soldiered were martyred on Thursday when terrorist opened fire at a security checkpost in Kech, Balochistan along Pakistan-Iran border.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that “a group of terrorists targeted a security forces’ post through fire in Singwan Area (Dist Kech) of Balochistan along Pakistan-Iran Border”.

“Since troops on the post were already alert and responded gallantly with all available weapons, a heavy fire exchange ensued,” it said.
Security forces pushed back the terrorists successfully however, during the intense exchange of fire, two soldiers embraced martyrdom.
According to ISPR, Sepoy Hasnain Ishtiaq from District Dera Ghazi Khan and Sepoy Inayat ullah from District Jhal Magsi were martyred.
“Security forces have launched an immediate sanitisation operation in the area and are in communication with Iranian authorities across as well to deny terrorists any opportunity to escape,” it said.

“Security Forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace and stability all along the borders in Balochistan.”
On Wednesday, two terrorists were killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation (IBOs) in the general area of North Waziristan’s Dossali, the military’s media affairs wing said.
The operation was initiated based on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.

During the operation, a fierce exchange of gunfire ensued between the security forces and the terrorists, ultimately resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.
The slain terrorists were found to possess weapons and ammunition, indicating their active involvement in carrying out terrorist activities against security personnel and causing harm to innocent civilians.
