LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday directed the Inspector General of Police to furnish the details of al the cases against PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi by June 06 (today).
The court hearing the petition of Gohar Bano, daughter of Shah Mahmood Qureshi, praying to the direct the government to provide the details of all the cases registered against Qureshi after May 09 and restraint the police from arresting in those cases.
The petitioner argued that Qureshi was a former foreign minister and an important leader of a political party. She said police could arrest the PTI leader in any alleged case registered against him after May 09.
She, therefore, prayed to the court to direct the respondents to provide her the information of all the cases registered after the May 9.
The petitioner also requested the court to order police that her father should not be arrested in any case registered against him after May 9.
The court after hearing her counsel at length sought details of the cases registered against the PTI vice chairman.
