KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 23.692 billion and the number of lots traded at 18,517.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 11.375 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 5.719 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.849 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.572 billion), Silver (PKR 1.088 billion), Platinum (PKR 753.616 million), Japan Equity (PKR 671.824 million), DJ (PKR 318.287 million), SP 500 (PKR 138.752 million), Natural Gas (PKR 111.794 million), Brent (PKR 58.977 million) and Copper (PKR 33.585 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 8 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.708 million were traded.
