MQM Lahore zonal committee has congratulated Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Hussain and all "Haq Parast Awam" on approval of Peoples Local Government Bill 2012 by the Sindh Assembly on Monday. Incharge Lahore Zone Waseem Khokhar and Dr Ali Hussain also praised President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and MQM Haq Parast members of the Sindh Assembly over approval of the bill.
They said that the local government system is the real spirit of the democracy. We demand of the Punjab government to hold the local bodies election at the earliest and transfer power to the grass-root level for redressal of problems of masses at their door-steps.
