President Pakistan Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif has said that Sindh government of People's Party is taking political revenge from the leaders and workers of PML-N after getting unnerved by its increasing popularity and acceptance among the people, and it is clearly reflected by harassment of Nawab Mumtaz Ali Bhutto and his son Ameer Buksh Bhutto.
Nawaz Sharif, in a statement on Monday said that registration of a fake FIR against Ameer Buksh Bhutto at the behest of the government, is a highly deplorable act which PML-N vigorously condemns. He said that PML-N demands that fake case registered against Ameer Buksh Bhutto should be discharged, while the process of torture and oppression against the peasants of K.T. Mumtaz, Rattu Dero and Larkana be ended and their legal rights be recognised.
He said that Nawab Mumtaz Bhutto and his family occupy an important position in the politics of Pakistan and services rendered by them to the country are obvious to everyone. He said that PML-N would not remain silent over this worst kind of political revenge and injustice. He said that popularity of PML-N cannot be undermined in Sindh by such illegal and unethical tactics. The PML-N chief said that pre-poll rigging has been started by President Zardari and his cronies by registering fake cases against the leaders of PML-N along with subjecting them to vindictive action.
