KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 24.479 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,056.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 11.442 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 7.550 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.049 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.145 billion), Platinum (PKR 954.393 million), Silver (PKR 421.605 million), Japan Equity (PKR 303.674 million), DJ (PKR 328.032 million), Natural Gas (PKR 108.904 million), SP 500 (PKR 101.611 million), Brent (PKR 41.161 million) and Copper (PKR 31.916 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 8 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.165 million were traded.
