Lahore DIG Shariq Jamal found dead at his residence: police

An immediate inquiry has been launched

Lahore Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Shariq Jamal was found dead on Saturday morning at his residence in DHA, Aaj News reported.

The body was transferred to the National Hospital DHA and was later moved to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

An immediate inquiry has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the DIG’s untimely demise.
