LONDON: British housing minister Michael Gove on Monday said he stood by a government target to build 300,000 homes each year by the middle of the decade, adding that he was confident it would be reached.
“(The) 300,000 target by the middle of this decade is one I completely stand by,” Gove said, when asked about the commitment by a reporter after a speech in London.
UK inflation rate falls to 7.9% in June
“I’m confident we’re on a trajectory to reach that 300,000 target.”
