‘There will be no difference if elections are delayed for a couple of days’: Tareen
LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Tareen Khan has said it will not make any difference if elections are delayed for couple of days.
He made these remarks while speaking to the media here on Sunday, along with IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan and newly joined political figures from Kasur.
Tareen said “We are happy that friends from Kasur are also joining the party. We will serve the country together with all our friends.”
Meanwhile, Aleem Khan said that new friends are joining IPP every week, which is increasing the political power of IPP day by day.
Criticizing the former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, Aleem Khan said when a person is cursed with arrogance; his end is like Imran Khan. He claimed that all this has been seen of their corruption is just a tip of the ice-burg. All the evidence cannot come out until former Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Farah Gogi are arrested. “If we are called to a forum for evidence of their corruption, we will appear,” he added.
On this occasion, Sardar Talib Niki, representing other colleagues, said: “I am very happy to announce my joining the IPP. Our relationship with them is very old. We have to serve Pakistan together. This party has to change the condition of poor and farmers. Everyone will benefit when this party is brought up. We will work together for the poor and farmers.
