Modest business activity on grain market

Modest business activity was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday, dealers said. On the grams side, Bajra low type did show any change at Rs 3300 while the best quality was higher by Rs 400 to Rs 4900, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-9 Sindh low variety was lower by Rs 400 to Rs 5000 and the good type followed same pattern, coming down by Rs 300 to Rs 5200, Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 10 to Rs 3450 while the best type was inert at Rs 3500, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (New) low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 850 and the best quality was unchanged at Rs 925, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said. On the cereals side, prices were unchanged, they said.
