Before his departure for Russia, Army Chief General Kayani with reference to Balochistan said, "Army fully supports any political process, as long as it is within the Constitution of Pakistan" said an ISPR statement. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Bilawal House on Wednesday.
The President briefed the Prime Minister about his visit to New York, where he raised the issue of the blasphemous film at the 67th annual session of UN General Assembly. The President also apprised the Prime Minister about his meetings with the world leaders on the sideline of the UN General Assembly session. The Prime Minister briefed the President about the current situation in the country, law & order situation, particularly in Balochistan, and energy.
