Kayani visits tomb of unknown soldier at Kremlin

Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on the first day of his visit to Moscow on Thursday visited the tomb of unknown soldier at Kremlin to lay a wreath. He was received by the Commander-in-Chief Ground Forces Colonel General Vladimir Chrikin, ISPR reported here. The CoAS laid the wreath and after that the Russian band played Pakistani National Anthem.
A smartly turned out contingent presented Guard of Honour. The CoAS also viewed the march past of the smart contingent. Later he left for Ministry of Defence where he met the CGS of the Russian Armed Forces.
