Wasim Akram eager to train the ‘unreal’ six-year-old Hasan

Praising the young bowling sensation Hasan Akhtar from the viral video, Pakistan bowling great Wasim Akram has said he is ‘unbelievable and unreal’.

“Six and a half year olds can hardly throw the ball but he [Hasan] is bowling with perfection. Although he is bowling with a tennis ball, which is totally different from a hard ball, but the way he is bowling, he is unbelievable and unreal,” BBC quoted the Sultan of Swing.

“The next step would be we would bring him here and show the real cricket and we will have to keep an eye on him until he gets 12 years old to start real training,” Multan Sultans director for cricket said.

Hasan, who grabbed headlines after his video of bowling went viral on social media, belongs from Chichawatni, Punjab.

Recalling his childhood, Wasim said, “I used to play like him on the streets and in my house. He reminds me of myself.”

Hasan took the social media by storm with his unbelievable bowling skills and caught the attention of cricketing greats such as Wasim and Shoaib Akhtar.
