LONDON: Europe’s main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday following gains elsewhere as oil prices cooled.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.3 percent to 7,626.11 points.
European stock markets fall at open
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index climbed 0.6 percent to 15,407.86 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.5 percent to 7,148.85.
