LONDON: European stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Friday, as attention turned to monthly US jobs data and its impact on the outlook for interest rates.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index grew 0.3 percent to 7,476.14 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index gained 0.3 percent to 15,115.10 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.2 percent to 7,013.55.
