LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday directed the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore to appear before the court in person on a petition of a PTI worker Khadija Shah and explained about the charges of implicating her in another case despite securing bails in two cases.
The police in the petition had informed the court that there were only two cases against the petitioner.
The court relying upon the report submitted by police granted bails to Khadija Shah in the two cases. The police, however, arrested Khadija Shah again in third case related to May 09 riots.
Khadija Shah, therefore, filed a contempt petition against the CCPO and other police officials. The CCPO was already directed by the court to submit a detailed report about arrest of Khadija Shah in third case till October 27.
