KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday saw a huge fall on the local market, but silver stood firm, traders said.
Gold prices slumped by Rs2400 to Rs211800 per tola and Rs2058 to Rs18,1584 per 10 grams.
Silver prices were unchanged for Rs2580 per tola and Rs2211.93 per 10 grams with international value of $22.50 per ounce.
On the world market, gold prices quoted for $1968 per ounce with an additional $20 premium on the local bullion trade, traders said.
