The National Assembly Tuesday did not take any agenda item and the proceedings were based only on points of orders by lawmakers. There were 28 items on the agenda including five reports on various bills of standing committees, three bills for passage, one for introduction and six resolutions left unaddressed on private members' day of the lower house of Parliament.
The National Assembly met for an hour and 39 minutes during the third sitting of the ongoing session. The sitting was also marked by low attendance as 82 MPs were present at the start while 72 at the adjournment. The Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, along with all the parliamentary leaders did not attend the sitting. Thirty-six points of orders consumed 94 minutes of the sitting.
