Jammiat Ulema-i-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced to revive Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), a conglomerate of different religious parties, on October 18 without Jamat-e-Islami. Talking to mediapersons on Tuesday, the maulana said that the JUI-F, JUI-S, JUP, Jamiat Ahle Hadis and Islami Tehreek would be the part of the MMA.
He said that JI demanded 50 seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the chairmanship of the MMA, which caused differences. "We have now decided to revive MMA on October 18 without Jamat-e-Islami," Fazlur Rehman added.
