Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) had arranged its Board meeting in the Ministry of Production. Minister for Production Anwar Ali Cheema, along with Secretary Production Gul Muhammad Rind chaired the meeting. PIDC Chairman Kahlid Mehmood Chadda explained the routine progress of the organisation & its subsidiary companies.
The Board approved the budget for year 2012-13. Moreover, approval of Audit & Accounts was also issued for last fiscal year 2011-12. In addition to that, investment in new Industrial Facilitation Centre (IFC) was discussed. Minister directed the officials to conduct free and independent audit of all the subsidiary companies including PIDC and submit report within 45 days. Minister further said that we should invest in R&D to promote and project the emerging sector in production. It will enable us to equip ourselves with latest technology and trends around the globe.-PR
