LAHORE: National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has urged all the political parties to avoid making the election process controversial.

He was addressing a press conference at the provincial secretariat of the party on Tuesday. He said a government coming into being in the wake of controversial elections would remain unable to develop the country.

He said holding of transparent elections is the need of the hour.
