The Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) has reportedly finalised its recommendations regarding missing persons, it is learnt. According to the sources, the committee recommended that the law enforcement agencies would not be allowed to keep in custody the suspected persons more than 21 days and the arrested persons would be informed about the alleged crime.
It is also recommended that the law enforcement agencies would not be allowed to take the arrested to their centers for investigation. The sources said the PCNS also recommended that it would be mandatory for the law enforcement agencies to inform the family about the person in their custody.
