LAHORE: Expressing concern over soaring inflation and unemployment, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif vowed to prioritise economic stability and job creation, if voted to power.
While addressing at election rally in his constituency in NA-130 at old Anarakali on Monday, Nawaz Sharif called upon his supporters to stand united and reaffirmed dedication to the PML-N, urging them to work together towards a prosperous and thriving nation.
The PML-N activists and supporters including women participated in the rally who chanted slogans in favour of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
Highlighting his services in previous tenures, Nawaz said there was a time when livelihoods were secure and inflation was under control. He expressed determination to restore prosperity and dignity to Pakistani households. He expressed his determination to public welfare, adding, his supporters’ affection was a testament to his sincerity and dedication.
The PML-N supremo also vowed to pursue justice and uphold the rule of law, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability.
Criticising the judicial decisions, he stated that he was unfairly targeted by the judges. He raised concerns about the fairness of judicial proceedings, citing the departure of judges involved in his cases and suggesting ulterior motives behind their resignations. He questioned the integrity of the judges, alleging bias and asserting that his innocence had been proven repeatedly. He also mentioned that the judge who monitored his cases later resigned.
PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz in her speech urged the people to vote the PML-N on February 8 to secure their future.
She said Nawaz faced all the fake cases and later proved innocence. She said Nawaz believes in rendering selfless services to the people and would alleviate the sufferings of the people after returning to power.
