MCCI demands new infrastructure, sewerage system in city

President of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Muhammad Khan Saddozai has said that government should develop new infra-structure, road network and sewerage system in Multan Industrial Estate (Phase-I), which is flooded with obnoxious effluents resulting into health and environment crisis.
He said that industrialists are playing a crucial role in economy by producing goods and providing hundreds of jobs, but lack of attention by Punjab Industrial Estates. PIE should address all problems of industrialists on priority including urgent supply of water, arranging proper drainage system, repairing street roads and lights. He said that PIE has an important role in facilitating the growth of business activities and it should urgently resolve the problems of industrialists to facilitate them in their efforts for promoting country's trade and exports.
