KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.613 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,271.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.941 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.746 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.975 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.693 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.359 billion), Silver (PKR 777.722 million), DJ (PKR 315.057 million), SP 500 (PKR 249.457 million), Japan Equity (PKR 172.197 million), Copper (PKR 168.752 million), Natural Gas (PKR 108.986 million), Palladium (PKR 81.899 million)and Brent (PKR 24.061 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 6lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 6.499 million were traded.
