KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR21.717 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,506.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 12.354 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.532 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.843 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.799 billion), Silver (PKR 1.447 million), Platinum (PKR 964.732 million), SP 500 (PKR 227.299 million), Copper (PKR 216.506 million), Natural Gas (PKR 131.121 million), Japan Equity (PKR 117.412 million), DJ (PKR 65.213 million) and Brent (PKR 19.341millin).
In Agricultural commodities,34 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 37.432 million were traded.
