Economic ties with friendly nations: SIFC meeting discusses progress
ISLAMABAD: The 9th Executive Committee meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) reviewed progress on economic cooperation with friendly countries in both the business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-government (G2G) frameworks.
The minister for planning, development, and special initiatives chaired the meeting. The meeting convened to assess various cross-sectoral issues and it discussed matters pertaining to project planning and development.
Federal and provincial ministers, along with high-ranking government officials, participated in the meeting. Concerned ministries presented progress reports on projects and policy measures in key areas within the SIFC’s mandate.
Detailed action plans were also presented by the relevant ministries to advance future efforts.
The committee ensured smooth pathways for decisions requiring high-level leadership in the upcoming Apex Committee meeting.
