KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 28.178 billion and the number of lots traded was 23,623. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 15.113 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.817 billion), Platinum (PKR 2.643 billion), Silver (PKR 2.184 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.150 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.736 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.523 billion), Copper (PKR 760.307 million), DJ (PKR 444.339 million), Palladium (PKR 168.924 million), Natural Gas (PKR 122.147 million), SP 500 (PKR 120.922million),Brent (PKR 25.130 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 10.762 million). In Agricultural commodities, 28 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 38.337 million were traded.
