ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has transferred and posted 12 senior Inland Revenue officials of Grade-19 to 21 with immediate effect.
This is the second phase of reshuffling of FBR senior officials just one week before the announcement of the federal budget (2024-25).
According to a notification issued by the FBR on Monday, FBR Member Audit Ahmad Shuja Khan has been transferred as Chief Commissioner RTO Lahore.
FBR Member Operations FBR Mir Badshah Khan wazir has been given the additional charge of DG International Tax Operations Islamabad.
Notification stated that Member Accounting Imtiaz Ali Solangi has been given the position of Member audit and CRM, and he will also look after the post of Member Accounting.
Another grade 20 officer Zubair Bilal has been transferred from Chief Commissioner RTO Faisalabad to Chief Commissioner (OPS) LTO Lahore.
Meanwhile, Ms Mufeesa Iqbal has been assigned a post of Member IT. She has been working as DG International Taxes Operations FBR.
Similarly, FBR has also transferred grade-20 officer Abdul Jawwad at LTO Lahore.
Faisal Ashgar will hold additional charge of Commissioner Appeal Sargodha.
According to notification, Rabia Yasser Durrani, Shahzad Mahmood, and Fida Muhammad have also been transferred from their current positions.
