One Kashif Ali burnt his wife Afshan bibi (35) in Alipur on Saturday. She was mother of three children. DPO Muzaffargarh Zeeshan Asghar said, "we have arrested the culprit Kashif (40) who had confessed the crime," Police said that Kashif was drunk and he started quarrelling with his wife. Later, he turned violent and he sprinkled the petrol on Afshan and set her on fire. She died before reaching at hospital.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Hanif was burnt by his wife in Bahawalpur when he went to his in-laws' home to bring back his spouse.
