RABAT: Morocco’s annual inflation, measured by the consumer price index, rose to 0.4% in May from 0.2% a month earlier, Morocco’s statistics agency said on Friday.
Food prices, the main driver for inflation in Morocco, dropped by 1.3% from a year earlier, while non-food inflation increased by 1.7%.
Japan inflation ticks up in May to 2.5%
Core inflation, which excludes more volatile goods, was up 0.1% month-on-month and 2.2% year-on-year.
