ISE index improves by 22.06 points

Equities moved both ways on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 22.06 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,093.09 to 3,115.15 points. The overall turnover amounted to 233,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 368,100 shares.
Total 129 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (70) closed in positive territory, 59 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Karachi Electric Supply was 200,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 10,000 shares. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 5,000 shares.
